Incredible small kitchen
For the cost and the purpose this is a fabulous purchase!
My son loves it! I looked online at tons of different kitchen sets and decided that it was absurd to spend $200+ on one for a 2 year old. This one was extremely well priced and still has lots of extras -sizzling & bubbling noises when something is placed on the burners, a knob that makes a timer alert sound, knobs that click when turned, dishes, cups, cookware, measuring cup, collander and even a cell phone. It is really very, very cute in my opinion. In this case the company name will tell you two things. 1) it is made in America which is actually pretty important to me and 2)it is made of plastic. There are probably sturdier sets of wood/metal and this one certainly isn't indestructable. BUT this plastic is closer to tupperware than the cheap brittle stuff you find with many toys and if your children aren't climbing on it I'd venture to say it will hold up very well. worth the time
While the pages of instructions may look daunting it's a breeze to put together. The features are awesome right down to the in-the-door water dispenser in the fridge door. The assembled product is sturdy and has no edges to hurt little fingers on. The light up burners are the icing on the cake. When the skillet and dutch oven, included with the kitchen, are placed on the burner one burner makes a sizzling sound, just like the bacon on the bottom of the skillet, and the other burner a bubbling sound. I don't know who had more fun with the kitchen, my son-in-law and I while putting it together, it didn't take two of us I just wanted in on the fun, or my 3 year old grandson. AND this product is made in America!!
