Extremely fun.
I received this toy when I was eight or nine and I still have it. Through destructive play and attic atmosphere, it has stood the test of time. So I believe that this is a moderately durable toy. I can remember hours and hours playing with this, so impressed with the realism (the interior lights up when you open the door!!) I just couldn't get enough of it. The parts are so tiny, though. Definitely for an older child.
That said, I really wish Kitchen Littles were still producing these toys. Barbie was taller than the fridge but who cares? (And look at all that product-placement!) I can't believe how much an unopened one is worth, though... I will never sell mine, that's for sure. xD
rare and well made quality toy
I didn't buy from this seller; I'm just reviewing the product, which I have from 15 yrs or so ago. I think I paid around $20 back then, and it is an extremely high quality durable product with great attention to details. I actually have a bunch of the other toys in the line, like the oven, convenience store, various food sets, etc. All beautifully detailed (oh those poor Chinese workers, yet bless their fine craftsmanship). I can't believe the price this seller is asking, but hey, it's no longer available in stores. Toys nowadays don't have nearly the same quality, especially the Barbie line, which is all pink and cheap looking. Hope this review helps anyone considering buying. The 3 stars are for the price; the product itself is a 5 star and then some. btw this thing lights up when door opens, sounds 'clink clink' when dispensing little clumps of ice.
