Child Sized Wooden Pretend Kitchen Stove-and-Sink Set

Sturdy and good size
My kid got this for his first birthday and he's been playing with it almost daily since then, as have his older friends. It's a bit taller than a lot of the kitchens out there, which is a plus for us since he's tall. He loves cooking on the stove, turning the knobs which are very well attached. Another hit is filling cups with "water" at the sink, which is slightly awkward for putting a cup under but again durable and have withstood his constant yanking. The doors on the sink cabinet have a magnet which was a bit too strong for him at first, but we put a piece of tape over it and he could open it fine. Older kids have no trouble at all. The oven flips open and the plastic wheel that holds it has broken off after a 4 year old friend stood and jumped on the oven door. The door held up fine and we were able to fix it with a u-shaped piece of metal and two screws - another benefit of wood over plastic! Only downside - wish there was a shelf in the under-sink cabinet to store his pots and...
Our kids have loved it!
We have had this kitchen set (this piece plus matching refrigerator) for over 3 years and it looks as good as the day we bought it. It is really sturdy and the paint hasn't even chipped off. Our kids have loved playing with it - our 9 year old still likes to use it, as does her younger sister. The pull-out shelves slide out easily and all the hinges have held up beautifully. It is a great quality product - pretty heavy so it does not slide around or move when played with. It is a bit on the expensive side, but you will get years of use from it and still be able to hand it down to other kids afterwards.
