KidKraft Grand Espresso Corner Kitchen

So many screws
Who knew there could be so many screws in one box?? The box arrived promptly and was deceivingly small, leading me to think this might be a simple project. WRONG! It was a long night before Christmas. There were more screws than I ever believed possible. It took us about 2 1/2-3 hrs to assemble the kitchen. That being said, it is really nice and my child loves it. It had lots of nice touches and looks very contemporary. Overall a great kitchen, but it does take quite a bit of work to assemble.
Perfect!
This kitchen is awesome! I was a little worried about it being big enough so that my twins could play at it together and it turns out its perfect for the two of them. They are almost 3 years old and I find that the kitchen is the most used "toy" not only is it great because of it's realistic features but it also stores all their play food. We only bought the Melissa and Doug playfood sets so I can't speak for other brands but as far as melissa and doug: the "oven" can fit the Cookie playset cookie sheet. It has a small spot under the "washer" that is perfect for the toy canned goods and the fridge and freeezer have more than enough room for 3-4 food playsets! Very happy with our purchase!
Great quality, kids love it
Yes, this kitchen set did take a while for my husband to put together Christmas Eve night. It was worth it. Both my five year old girl and my two year old boy love playing with this kitchen. They "make" tea and snacks for us every day. It is a very high quality set, too. My five year old sits up on the counter with no trouble at all. One of the best toy purchases we've ever made.
